Northwest Regional Airport
The Northwest Regional Airport, located 15km from Terrace and 40km from Kitimat, is a key piece of infrastructure in Northwest British Columbia. It serves over 100,000 passengers a year, it has an instrument landing system, a 7,500 foot runway, central location, and a 99.7% landing reliability.
The airport has state of the art secruity screening and air terminal building capacity to handle large crowds. It is served by four airlines and two helictoper companies and is responsible for almost 50% of the aircract movements in the region.
